This is an opportunity for you to join our fantastic Food and Beverage Team working throughout the   2013 Festive season.

If you are successful you will have the opportunity to join our great banqueting team throughout the months of November and December. The job does require you to work evenings and weekends. You will also have the opportunity to work Christmas Day and New Years Eve.

          The key objectives of the role include the following:  
      Purpose of Job: To run and provide high quality sessions in line with the activity structure, in organising and delivering the sessions to a high quality, in a safe and friendly environment for all participants.

E    Essential Personal attributes for the post:
 
                 Experience of leading sessions of physical activity.
  • Experience of dealing with people of all ages and abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to prepare materials that are appropriate to the target audience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in order to forge trusting relationships with all participants.
  • Must have a caring and empathetic nature
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Been able to communicate / work effectively in a team environment.

TECHNOLOGY APPRENTICESHIP

So if you have an interest in how media and broadcast technology work, come to one of our BBC Open Days, where you can meet staff members, watch the latest technology demos and have the opportunity to look around BBC Studios.

In September 2014 the BBC will be offering school leavers three year contracts to work and train as Broadcast Engineers in technology teams with the BBC and industry partners ITV, Channel 4, Red Bee Media and Arqiva. This is a higher level apprenticeship which supports you studying towards an BEng (Hons) in Broadcast Engineering while you gain leading industry experience. All University tuition fees will be paid by the BBC, as well as a competitive Apprentice’s salary.
