Trainee Accountant position - Haywood & Co. Chartered Accountants

The Position

The position will be based in the Rotherham branch of Haywood & Co and we are looking to appoint someone who has a keen interest and preferably studying Business\ Accounting.

 

The role involves working in a busy professional office undertaking basic accounts production/bookkeeping and preparation and assisting on audit assignments.

 

Candidates will commence with AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) and progress to ACA professional examinations to gain Chartered Accountant status.

 

Candidate requirements: 

• Be on track to achieve A\B grades at A level or equivalent and GCSE;
• Have a good work ethic
• Demonstrate the ability to work as an individual or a team member;
• Be confident and demonstrate a professional approach;
• Driven and motivated with a can do attitude;
• Ready to take on responsibility;
• Well presented;
• Show good written and verbal communication skills;
• A good standard of computer skills;
• Be organised;
• Committed to their studies.
